The popular meat shop, D Company, located in Kakogawa City, Hyogo Prefecture, is particularly busy during the year-end when demand for "gifts" and "New Year's dishes for home use" overlaps, often facing a shortage of staff. Every year, they have closed gift shipping orders on December 20, but they considered utilizing a system to "bring joy to more customers." As a result, our company developed a tablet-based order system for in-store sales of gifts, utilizing tablets and Microsoft Azure. As a result, the time required for sorting tasks has been reduced by about 50%, and there are no longer any missed shipments.
